VGP – The PM recently ratified a protocol paving the way for Việt Nam to access the Advisory Center on WTO Law (ACWL).

VGP – Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Nguyễn Xuân Phúc had a reception on September 16 with Cambodia’s Secretary of State of Commerce Sorasak Pan who is on a working visit to Việt Nam to exchange experience of international cooperation, especially in implementing WTO admission commitments. 

VGP – By licensing HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank (both owned by the UK) to establish their wholly owned branches, Việt Nam shows its efforts in fulfilling its WTO commitments.

VGP – A sub-regional seminar titled "Sharing experience on WTO accession and commitments implementation” was held this morning, July 7, in Hà Nội by the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry and Germany’s Hanns Seidel Foundation.

VNGOP – One of the goals of the Project "Post-WTO technical supports" (stage 1) just approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT) is to assess the actual situations and propose solutions in the initial phase of realizing WTO commitments for some services, such as distribution and transfer of commercial rights and agents; commodity survey; and logistics.

VNGOVNet – On behalf of the PM, Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm on December 11 sent to the WTO Secretariat a letter informing that Vietnam has completed the procedure of having the Protocol on Joining the WTO Establishment Agreement ratified.

VNGOVNet – In the afternoon of November 15, at the head office of the Government, Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng received the Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Mr. Pascal Lamy, who is paying a working visit to Vietnam.
